Seeking Advice

So, with the tank finally completed, I'm thinking that I would love to get him a buddy in the next couple months. I'm thinking three AGTFs in an 18x18x24 might be too much, but I'll welcome any advice.

The dilemma: It is nearly impossible to find CB AGTFs. I bought my original at Petsmart, but assuming he is wild-caught, I would really like to find a captive bred one. Breeding would be something cool to have in the future, but I would only attempt that after weeks, or even months of research and prepping.

So, I am asking if anyone knows of a reputable breeder(s) that sells AGTFs. Also, advice on whether 3 would be too much for my tank would be appreciated.

Im excited that you are planning to breed these frogs! I understand it can be frustrating to find CB frogs, the best thing to do if you cant find any is to quarantine the new frogs and breed the healthiest ones. It may be a little harder to breed them because they are most likely wild caught. 4-6 frogs can be housed in the 18x18x24 tank (around 35 gallons) but if you don't like it, that's perfectly fine. http://www.frogforum.net/care-sheet-...ves-final.html

Lol, I forgot you had written that. It was very informative, and I think it should be put as one of the care articles. For breeding, I'm talking a looong way down the line, but I would eventually like to do it, and perhaps be able to offer some CB AGTFs, something you don't find often. The rain chamber is a really cool and interesting design, and would love to build one some day. For now though, I think I'll just look around some. If it comes to it, I can easily quarantine a WC one (or two) for a month +, along with fecal tests, etc. Thanks for the advice
