Hello,
I have setup a 46 gallon bowfront tank. It has been inhabited by a whites tree frog for a bout a week and half. My Boyfriend and I set the tank up togeather. We havent taken anything from the outdoors. We have a bottom layer of rocks, then window screen, then a organice potting soil mixed with a small amount of spagnam moss. It is then topped off with a small layer of jungle mix. We also hyave the back of the terrarium lined with some moss form the pet store. We have 5 live plants in the tank. The first week was fine but the beginning of the second week we noticed that there were several flies in the tank, (not house flies small black flies, about the size of flightless fruit flies) but they can fly, and we have never fed our frogs any kind of fly. I was wondering if there is a way to get rid of them, they look like they are really bothering the frog.
Thank you!
