    Default Hyla japonica

Hi folks just recently got myself 6 more H Japonica , however within 24hrs they had spawned but it wasn't in the water it was in the plastic plants on the rocks anywhere but in the water.
The water was quite warm so maybe they dumped it out of desperation. I don't think any of it is any good as I can't see that I have any males (very unusual) however my friend is rummaging through his green house to find me a couple of males where he has a population at liberty, however the weird thing is they won't spawn for him but he breeds versicolor and savignya with ease.On a good note japonica spawn regularly from May through to August so I may have a chance later on. Similarly I had this happen with arborea afew years ago anyone else had same problem

Never kept japonica, never mind bred them. I have bred Agalychnis callidryas, but thats a different ball game altogether.
