Hi
I am pretty new to the world of keeping frogs, I have kept fish since I was 15, I have a 75gal tank for my polypterus, and a 20gal for fish I'm growing out for the 75gal.
Got my first two african clawed frogs in April of this year, some what of an impulse buy, a friend of mine had had them when I was younger, and he kept his two adults in a 2.5 gal critter keeper, so I had figured a 10gal would be perfect. I unfortunately was not very wise, and learned the hard way about how good they are at escaping, and had lost both of them. It was a real bummer, as my kids and I really liked them. They were a lot of fun to watch, and I missed them.
So a while later, armed with an escape proof aquarium top, and LOTS of new knowledge on proper care, I tried again. I picked up an albino, and she seemed lonely, so I ordered a borealis and a reticulated albino from Xenopus Express, and 10 tadpoles because I thought my kids would enjoy watching them turn into frogs, which they did. I'm not sure about all my friends and family on Facebook who were bombarded with tadpole pictures though LOL

I currently have the adult frogs are in a 40 breeder, and the babies are split up between two 5gal tanks, 50% daily water changes on those. I am excited for them to be able to go in the big tank. I also have a 10gal with a rescue frog I picked up a few days ago. Poor guy was in a tank with oscars and blood parrots, and someone had plucked out his eye. I'll be posting my millions of questions on him soon enough.
I have to say, I am extremely thankful for all the knowledge I have gained learning to be a better frog keeper from this forum, and look forward to learning more.
