So I know this has been discussed plenty of times in the past, and the general consensus is that they should be fine with them, after all they likely encounter them in nature anyway.... That's not really my question.
I do have two broms in my viv that have some spikes on the edges and so far it has been no big deal, but tonight I witnessed something that has me a little concerned... or I may be anyway and wanted to know from experienced frog owners if I should be. Zeus was apparently bored and chasing tiny food up the wall tonight til he got way up in the corner. He was trying to get a tiny fungus gnat larva up there... anyway, because he had climbed the background itself there wasn't a super easy way back down, and he ended up jumping for the closest brom. I was hoping he'd land on the flat part, but he actually landed exactly on the edge of one, and then scrambled over it dragging his belly a bit on it it seemed. Do you think the spikes would have cut him? I never see his belly, so not sure how I would know.
