Hi, this is my first post on here. I've read a few posts before and found it a great place to get advice.
I have a slight worry about my whites tree frogs. I have 2, Hiccup and Houston! I have had them since December 2013. I had them since they were tiny!
I feed them grasshoppers and crickets.
I am not sure if this is normal, or if it is something to worry about. I was just looking at my frogs this evening, and notice that they have a lot of little tiny white spots on the belly. And when they are stuck on the glass of the terarrium the spots are very clear. I'm not sure if I just never noticed this before, or if it's just new.. Is it anything worry about?
I have attached photos.

When you say "spots", do you mean bumps? Because I'm not noticing any spots, just the normal bumps that you would see on any frogs skin.

Yeah, it is the little bumps on them... like i said i hadn't noticed them before, and having had them for a few months, I wasn't sure if it was something to worry about or not.
I've found owning tree frogs is fun! And definitely a learning process.
Sorry for the panic for nothing... just wanted to be safe.. haha![]()
I agree with Josh. My whites have those too. How big are they? I noticed in your other post that they could fit on the tip of your finger. Or are those old pictures?

Harpactira pulchripes 0.0.1 (Golden Blue Leg Baboon Tarantula)
Yeah they were old pictures, I think I have a male and female as Hiccup is significantly bigger than Houston. They aren't quite palm size yet.
This is a more recent photo of the 2 together.
This photo is from a few months back, but shows the size difference in the 2.

Oh my, the one on the right isn't getting enough food. Do you let the crickets roam free? If so, then the fat one may be getting them all. I recommend either taking them out to feed or tong feeding so you know exactly how much they eat.
Edit: oops i got confused on which one was the more recent pic *smacks head* lol sorry have you heard any croaking. If one is male, he should have croaked by now

No I haven't heard any croaking.. I have been looking out for months now but they both seem pretty silent.
I normally just let the crickets roam free, when I first had them I used to feed one by one, I'd put them on a table and let them chase the crickets, they preferred the whole Jurassic park thing! I have tried tong feeding, but neither ever look interested that way. :/ And it's difficult for me to get the frogs out much these days as I have 3 cats now, I only had the 1 before, and they are a handful!
You can try loud music or another loud sound.
My self-obsessed frog loves to croak to a recording of himself croaking

The white-ish bumps are normal skin texture.
They may be more or less visible between sheds and changes in humidity.
Whites can be easily fed by using a lg bowl.
There are lots of advantages to this.
This will especially reduce the need to handle the frogs, prevent the yuckie crickets from hanging around,
will enable you to monitor food intake more closely, and helps to keep the supplements on the crickets and into the belly of 'your charges'
