Thanks. I am trying. Tomorrow will be a no "work" day so It will have extra time to finish curing/settling etc. One day this week I will get the water feature setup and the holes for the tubing cut in the lid. Lights will be ordered in a week or so and once they get here I will get planting and will give it a min of 2 weeks before letting Hopper move in.

First, NOT related.. Squeakers wants a lizard.. She jumped up from my lap to sit at the edge of the couch and watch it!

Ok, Second. Go ahead and say "I told you so." Go ahead, Say it. I will laugh and then continue on.

The water pump works and everything is great EXCEPT the mopani wood I have to figure out how to do the "fall" part now..

    We have water!

How the water is getting from end to end at the moment..

My mopani got soaked I don't know exactly where it all leaked from, where to seal/not seal...

Gotta go back to the drawing board for this part.. Here is the PITA part. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. I am not ready to quit on the water feature so giving up isn't a choice for me.

OK well, A LOT has happened and I have not been on in a while. Long story short, we will be moving to Cali in the next 6 months or so and will not be getting "The White's House" up and running as desired until after the move. Most of our extra funds are now going to fixing up this place to sell. What an adventure!

I have been tired of Hopper in his little tiny quarantine tank for a while now so last night I took out ALL the dirt out of the big tank, replanted the plants in plastic pots and moved Hopper over to the big tank. He seems happier with so much room but is still sleeping low. I know he checked out the new place last night and found his food dish and ate. He also found the water dish since it's now filled with dirt (He likes the plants). I am hoping he gets over his "fear" of heights and takes advantage of the higher spaces.

I managed to drop the heat lamp but have a space heater with an auto shut off that is keeping him warm enough. I will be getting a new heat lamp some time this week and hopefully another set of lights.

The water feature is shut down and the water is out but the false bottom is still there. The plants look good. Everything that has survived (Sorry Bill, the begonias didn't make it) have grown roots and now have much more room to grow while waiting for the new place in Cali. I already have a box with the clean and dry filter and "extras" made up and ready for more stuff once we are about to leave.
