Im trying make a better viv for my three fire belly toads. i need some tips, guidelines, or links about making vivariums with good stuff, and what temperature to bake the piece of grapevine i have (if i even need to).
its a ten gallon tank, going for 50/50 style, has a small duetto filter, im going to try and put some live plants in here as well. the substrate im going to switch from ecoearth to organic potting soil.
i was thinking of only using the goodstuff as a small barrier on one side of the dividing grapevine so that the water doesnt go through, and then filling that dry side with the potting soil and then adding some plants. does that sound like it will work?
also what plants do you reccomend for this type of set up?
i was thinking devils ivy, maybe water bamboo, but wouldnt that get too tall? any suggestions?
