    Default House painting and frogs

We will be painting our living room in the next few weeks. It just dawned on me last night that this may not be good for my frogs! The greys live in the living room, the red eyes are in my bedroom that connects to the living room.

Do you think it would be sufficient to put the greys in my bedroom (with the door shut) and cover both tanks with a towel? I'm not sure that moving them to another floor is an option, the attic and basement both have some pretty big temperature swings. How long after painting would I be able to move the greys back? After it's dry? After there is no noticeable odor?

I personally would try to get them out of the house. Considering how i feel after it has been painted. You can probably just bring them back into the house once the paints try and there isn't any real odor. Hope this helps!

Put them in a separate room, and ventilate your working space and they will be fine. Latex paint doesn't take long to dry. Once it is, just bring the frogs back in.

Thanks, guys! The work space has 6 windows and a door to the outside that we can open in it. So it should easily be well-ventilated. I figured it would be okay so long as I left my bedroom door shut, but wanted to double check. Moving the frogs to a completely different location, somewhere out of the house, would be highly stressful on them, especially the red eyes, and I'd prefer not to do that.
