heres the set up for my soon to be gotten red eye!
I did a test run and realized i needed to use a hotter lamp to reach the right temperature. Temperature is now 76F, and humidity is 75F.

Hay Mantid!
Looks good, what size of tank is that? Reds want more height than they go horizontal space. It is hard to tell from the pic... Looks like a 20H?
One thing I wanted to point out in case you ended up with issues. Using a bulb to heat the tank will dry the air out really quickly. You will end up fighting with it more often than not. Switching to an LED light and a Ceramic Heat Emitter will be the easiest to help maintain the proper temp and humidity without cooking all that sweet sweet moisture out of the air![]()

Recommend get digital gauges (Walmart has at good $) or at least a glass aquarium floating thermometer ($2 at same place). Those analog gages have huge error swings.
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog!
He means they can be + or - many degrees off of what the tank actually is. I would get a few branches in there too, they will like that.![]()

And the humidity in the air will mess with them and they will start reading WAY off.
You have a heating pad in the tank" or on the outside of the tank?

Yeah that heat lamp was making the humidity go down. I replaced it with yet another lamp. Last different type. That one kept the humidity good. I added a heating pad in there too. Temperature is 75. Humidity is like 90 at the moment. Letting some air in to let it go down. I think a lot of the humidity is coming from the heating pad. I should use the heating pad for night time and the lamp for day.
It's a big cage, 1 foot wide, 2 feet tall, 3 feet long. It's all I got at the moment. Hmm I'm considering resting the cage so it's 3 feet tall instead of long. I think I could make that work. I don't know, I'm going to see how the frog does first. I'm getting him/her as a baby so this will be quite a lot of space for now. I might update as he/she gets bigger.
