Hello! Welcome to the frog forum!

Tank looks very nice! What size is it??

Excuse my saying, but the water does not look clean. Do you have a filtration system? If so, what brand and model. If not, how often is the water changed?

The light on the tank needs to be 6500 k in order for plants to grow.

Their care is similar to the whites tree frog. Here is a care sheet! Frog Forum - White's Tree Frog Care - Litoria caerulea

Good luck ! And we would love to see pics of your frog!

Simon you can use a sponge filter with an air pump outside the tank or an internal water filter.

If you just set it up today the water should clear up over the next 24 - 48 hours. What kind of water did you use? (tap, distilled, spring)

    Is it treated tap water?

If not, that is very dangerous to your frog!

You must use a declorinator in the water

Use seachem prime or other declorinators.

Congratulations on your new frog and welcome to FF!

Even if there is no chlorine in the tap water, it needs to be treated for other things in the water, metals and such.

How big is the tank? It's hard to tell from the pics.

Stress may cause him not to eat for a few days, but I'd keep a close eye on it. Really, a quarantine would be the best set up right now so that you can easily monitor his eating and pooping very easily. I wouldn't guarantee that he's captive bred just because you bought him in Canada, I have found them for sale in the pet stores here also, and they are wild caught and shipped up here.
