Yes, I knew it couldn't be a true fern because they grow from spores. I don't think asparagus fern is technically a true fern though, is it? They were seeds, small, brown, round seeds. The instructions said to soak them overnight and they would germinate after about a month. It really could be anything, and like you said, it will take more time to tell

OH! I will try to remember later, I wanted to share some pics of my hardy hibiscus. It went into bloom this week. I hope the cold doesn't destroy them right away!
