Haha that's why i wanted him! feeding is the most fun in my opinion, although my clawed frog is thee biggest i've ever seen she is like 6.3 inches from nose to vent and she would eat nonstop if i let her. But once this brute has grown up a little more i will give him a mouse once a month, maybe more! I'm pumped.

Hello and welcome to FF ! Would like to see a pic of head from the side to confirm; but appears a male. How long is frog from snout to vent? Asking because it looks small to be croaking like seller stated. On the mice, take it easy with them. Not more than one a month and not too big because if so; could start rotting inside before frog digests it and that would be fatal .

I know i know hahah i will just get a couple more pixies and hopefully a female ornate pacman (different enclosures of course) they i can spread out the feedings lol. Update on the enclosure: I have cellophane on the top to keep the humidity in, i bought a light with a moderate heat bulb (i will have to check the package because i forgot) and i just have a 10-20 heat pad on the opposite side of the water feature till i can buy a larger heat pad. I put a half log hide in there but so far he doesn't like it. He eats like a champ though, 2 worms yesterday and 6 gut fed crickets, 2 worms today and 12 dusted crickets. Here are some side pics. I still need to get a cool background hopefully i can find one that's marshy or swampy like his natural habitat in south africa. I think i'm also going to get another lamp and put just a regular uv bulb or something. This frog is just as cool as i had hoped i'm so pleased.
