    Orientalis or European ?
    Your water isn't deep enough
    Give them a good clean out fresh water 6 inches deep a spotlight to shine on them and bobs your uncle (not a strong spotlight 40w will do aim it to one corner of your set up ) and give them a good spray every day, feed live bloodworms daphnia, brineshrimp
