I have put a container in at 4cm, more than 1 1/2 inches. They are jumping out... But they are medium sized crickets. Small ones are coming Tuesday... Will they not jump that distance. Thanks.

What material is container you are using made off? If a clean glass bowl, the crickets can't jump out because they lack traction to do so .
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog !
