The new frog species, Hylarana centropeninsularis. Photo by Chan et al.
This beauty has adapted to live in swamps and although discovered years ago was confused with another frog until now. For publication abstract visit: Kin Onn Chan, Rafe M. Brown, Kelvin K.P. Lim, Norhayati Ahmad, and Lee Grismer (2014) A New Species of Frog (Amphibia: Anura: Ranidae) of the Hylarana signata Complex from Peninsular Malaysia. Herpetologica: June 2014, Vol. 70, No. 2, pp. 228-240. .
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog !
Wow, such a beautiful frog I love it's bright firey eyes. So many wonderful things on this planet yet to be discovered.
So that's why i wasn't able catch Dr.Rafe on my twice visit to the Philippines, he's busy in Malaysia!! Lol
