Have you added Springtails to the tank soil? If not I would recommend getting a culture and mixing into into the soil about 30 days before the frogs are put in. This will give them time to breed and get their population up before the frogs start their mission of eating them all lol.
You will also want to have a culture of springtails setup on the side that you just let breed. You will want to add more to the tank over time. All Dart Frogs will snack on them their entire life.
To setup a spring tail breeding colony you can either order a breeding kit from NeHerp or Josh's Frogs. I actualy recommend Josh's frogs Springs for breeding because the cultures are shipped in charcoal.
You take a plastic shoe box size bin and fill it with Horticulture grade charcoal. Then add roughly 1" of water. Add your spring culture. Feed them brewers yeast every 1 - 2 days. Just a pinch of the yeast will last that long. It will take the breeding culture about 30 days to take off. Just be careful when you pull Spring tails from it that you leave a lot in the culture to continue to produce. Springs are super easy to breed and a necessity.
Also if since you are looking at Dart frogs you will want to get a fruit fly culture in advance. Azureus will eat D. Melonagaster fruit flies their entire lives. Get a culture before you order the frogs and some supplies to setup new cultures. Setting up and breeding fruit flies is fairly easy, but does take a bit of practice to get the hang of it. D. Melo are the fastest producing fruitfly, new cultures will yield new flies after about 2 weeks. You can buy fruit fly breeding kits from either Josh's Frogs or Neherp.
