Large Ponds

I was creating a terrarium for my Ruby eyed tree frogs a few weeks ago and discovered a great way to make a large "in-ground" pond - Disposable Paint trays. They can be found in all sizes, and have that nice slope so one end is deep and the other comes right to the surface. (plus they are only $1.99) I have 2 black ones in that tank that are awesome, and are plenty large to put a pump into. Just put moss or large stones around the edge and it looks very natural.

Asking if we liked to see a pic here is like asking a kid if it wants ice cream . Of course we want to see your paint tray pond !

LOL here is a picture of my "paint tray pond". It sits nicely into the soil like a tupperware container would (I know quite a few people use those) but you don't have to worry about frogs getting stuck in it because the bottom gets shallower and shallower up to the top.

Great idea! ive seen others use concrete mixing tubs for water dragon ponds.
