    I just thought that live moss would have a lot of benefits and when it's grown in there's less chance of it being consumed, but maybe Dichondra will work well instead.
    Any suggestions on other good ground coverings?

    Agree with Bill on the moss. There are several online stores we could link you to where you can buy live sheet moss or pillow moss.

    Other than Live moss you can use Leaf Liter or Good quality Sphagnum moss.
