Hello everyone
This is Pekoe, (like orange pekoe tea).
Below: first day home.
Below: 9 days later.
Below: view of current QT
Yess this is the current viv he is in, no it's not permanent, I have a 30 gal I plan on moving him too ^^
This is my first time owning an amphibian, so I guess I'm lucky he's an easier species to care for than some, but I did adopt him knowing full well that there were some health issues involved.. I do not know how to treat him yet, or even what exactly caused the injuries (though I have a feeling it had to do with how he was housed), but I do know that at the very least he is living in a more "frog-friendly" environment than he was 13 days ago, so I think it was a good place to start.
If anyone has any information on what caused his injuries, (greying around nostrils and upper eyelids) or how to treat them, I would be most grateful for your opinions on my previous post: http://www.frogforum.net/tomato-frog...-nostrils.html
Aside from this I would just like to say that I'm here to meet new people, and if you do own or have owned the D. Guineti genus, I would love to talk and share some information![]()
