Default Leopard Gecko care and supplies needed for three Leopard Geckos

Hi! Leopard geckos are simple. I have never had one but i took care of my friend's gecko for a few weeks once. They need a small water dish. They need at least two hides. One dry, one humid to help with shedding. The substrate should either be tile or reptile carpet. Something that can't be swallowed. Bare bottom is also used sometimes. Temps should be in the 80s with a drop at night. Humidity should be low. Like 30-40 at the most. For three you should have a 20-30 gallon long tank. They are very simple as that is all you need. Full spectrum lighting is recommended because reptiles, unlike amphibians, need it to make vitamin d. Dusting rules still apply. Decorations are all up to you!

1 adult leo can live in a 10-20 gallon tank. Housing more than is normally not advised unless you plan to breed, especially if it is your first time to take care of one to avoid issues like off-feeding due to stress, tail loss, fights, territorial aggression. A 30 gallon tank would be small for 3 leos in my opinion. If you do push thru with housing them together, be sure to have 2 other spare tanks in case aggression or off-feeding arises.
