Im excited too! ive decided to get two babies, 3/4" from LLLreptile. Gonna get fruit flies to start with. I have bred mantids which eat fruit flies as well so ive learned the method of making sure they dont escape. Im thinking of getting a reptile fogger. How often would i have it go off?

It varries from tank to tank. Reds only like it in the 70% humidity range. Foggers typically aren't needed to maintain that. Just misting a couple times a day is usually good enough.

I wouldn't waste your money on a fogger. I mist in the morning and before they wake up at night. Keeps the humidity perfect. I will be running a room humidifier during the winter so I shouldn't need to change that too much then either.
