Is leaf litter a good bedding for toadlets?

Yes, leaf litter would be an acceptable choice for bedding. It provides a cool moist burrowing spot for hot days, is easy to remove and clean, and looks just like a natural toad environment. As a matter of fact, I use leaves for Lola's cage. I use a mixture of dead lilac bush leaves, and some regular oak tree leaves.

OK cool. I thought it would be OK, but better to check and make sure. Using just dirt is a mess since they track it into the water which means you have to change it more.
