I'm an artist who works freelance as a multi-media traditional artist creating paintings, sculptures, marker and papercrafts, as well as digital work of equal merit. I am an animator and comic artist, a writer, and I'm working on developing my first video game!

On the animal side of things I've always studied and been fascinated with animals and the world we share. I've always had dogs, cats and fish, and since I graduated high school about 3-4 years ago (feels like forever lol) I've ran a fish rescue in my own home and college apartment rescuing all sorts from mollies, gouramis, tetras, guppies, and mostly, betta fish. While doing this I also rescued some african clawed frogs who suffered from their previous owners and / or pet stores inadequate care. While some animals thrived for the rest of their proper lifespan, sadly, most did not.

While still in high school I rescued a young eastern spotted newt from my cats, and while it was unharmed, it was struggling to get around due to a previous injury (missing limb), so I took it in and named "her" Nico. She thrived in a half gallon tank for almost a whole school year before dying due to heat (my grandmother forgot I had a newt and shut off the fan keeping her and her tank cool while I was at school). It was a sad day, and I miss her still. I've also had a bearded dragon named Hamada who passed away last year of illness. That was really hard to deal with. Another reptile I had was a corn snake which was temporarily given to me by my cousin. When I moved to college, he got a new home (feeding mice made my mom uncomfortable and she was the only one who would watch him for me).

While in college, since pet choice was strictly limited, I got myself a small colony of 3 hermit crabs who I love very much. They're so much fun to watch!

I've since given up my aquatic rescue because of money and its wear and tear on my little heart. I want an amphibian as a healthy pet instead of a nursing situation, mostly so I don't have to prematurely say goodbye to any of my beloveds. At least for now. In the future, I'll probably start fostering various animals and maybe even rescue again, but for now, I need a break!

I'm most interested in the White's tree frog and helping my brother with fire bellied newts. Neither of us have them yet, but we're preparing and saving up. Which is why I'm here!
