>>>>>>>>Pets by AllyGraves<<<<<<<<< My Pyxie Frog
Hi everyone. I was wondering if someone could help me find out if my Pyxie frog, Jaba the Gut, is a boy or a girl. I've had him or her for about a month now and I'm still not sure about what to call him/her. I know it sounds weird but I'd really like to know because I feel bad calling it something its not. Please someone help me.
AllyKat,

the link should work now Paul
Need to see a picture of your frog's head from above and from the side. I would guess male, but we need more photos to be sure.
I've added a couple more pics to the link if that helps
Yep looks like you have yourself a little male. Congrats!
Oh Great! But may I ask how do you know?
i say it's a girl. Regardless, it's a great looking frog! it is hard to tell when it is young. Juveniles have a line running down the center of their back. Wait a while until it is sexually mature.

I heard something about juvenile males having blue/teal coloring on the backs of legs and around their behinds. Any truth to this?
