yes they used to call them air ferns when i was a kid( in the 70's and 80's.) Amazon.com: Hinterland Trading Air Plant Assortment 5 Pack Airplants Tillandsia: Patio, Lawn & Garden
but actually there are air ferns, and air plants. i should have said air plant. did not know the latin name, and honestly getting sick of Latin by now.
