Default Where To Buy D. Hydei Fruit Flies?

    Hi.

I was wondering if anyone can tell me if there are any reputable pet stores in the NY/CT area that sell the larger D. Hydei fruit fly cultures?

Your responses will be much appreciated.

    Thank you.

    RJ

Hello RJ! If you can't find them locally; Josh Frogs sells them online: Fruit Fly Cultures for your Reptiles or Amphibians | Josh's Frogs .
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog !

    Thank you, Carlos and Paul.

Have had excellent dealings with Josh's Frogs..they are very professional and courteous. I was just hoping to have a local alternative in case I need D. Hydei fruit flies right away. I have found the smaller fruit flies at Petco, but not the larger species.

Thank you again for your prompt responses. They are much appreciated.

    All the best...

Not sure if this will be of great help; but I keep +1 culture of each variety raised as a safeguard in a shelf away from other cultures just in case .

    Thank you, Carlos.

I have been doing that as well. But you can never have enough backup plans in place.

    Thanks again.
