Hello!
I got an American Green Tree Frog yesterday and he is the size of a dime.
Today I went to the pet store and the clerk told me I should get mealworms instead of crickets. So I bought some and tried to feed him this evening. My Frog wouldn't eat! I suppose he could just still be acclimating? Or maybe he's not hungry yet? But the biggest problem I see is that the mealworms are as long as he is! I tried cutting one in half and wiggling it around with tongs, but he still looked disinterested. So, what should I do? Also how often do size-of-dime American Green Tree Frogs eat? Other than eating (and I may just be overreacting) my little froggy seems to be adjusting well to his new home. He has the right temp, humidity, light, lots of hiding places, and a shallow water dish that he can sit in. Also I mist the tank (but not him) twice daily. Thank you for reading, and any help, suggestions, or advice will be extremely appreciated.
Thank You so much!
Frogert ^-^
