These guys came to the micro-eco frog habitat we built in front of our apartment this July 2014. Hopefully more will show up!

Great! Is it a 1.1 pair?

Actually I don't know the sexes of these guys, they are all half grown. I have some idea but none of them have dark throat sacks so obviously no breeding males. We actually had frog #7 show up last night! Smallest of them so far, just a bit less than frogs 1 and 4. Will get screen captures up of him or her today I hope they overwinter fine and do breed here in the spring, that would rock! We are having temps near 100 today and 102 tomorrow D: so I hope they get down into the nice wet moss. Am planning on putting together another "pond" for them today... I may be pushing the boundaries here at the apt with the habitat, but I don't care, heh.

I have two male PCFs and they are really quiet because of the heat, but they are hanging in there! Try keeping the area wet with a water hose, The frogs should be much more active in fall and winter, i remember when cutting down a Christmas tree, i found a small chorus frog hop past me! they will usually hide until nightfall.

Default Pair of Suburban Pacific Tree Frogs in NW Oregon

Ahh I love seeing all the different colors of PCFs I live in SW Washington, I've mostly only seen tadpoles so far. And it should be cooling down hopefully, I'm tired of this heat!

For sure there, Jessalyn! I'm beginning to wonder if we flip flopped weather with Missouri! (my best friend lives there) I can't stand the heat and humidity, I'm a NW Oregon gal, we don't do HOT humidity, lol :P I love the varying colors of these guys myself, it's awesome how they can change shades/patterns too
