Default I'm new and I need help :(

I just joined, but I have been on here getting tips and information before I got my tree frogs 3 months ago. Thanks to everyone by the way for being so knowledgeable. I did a lot of research online, but I like taking my advice from people who practice what they are saying in real life!
Anyways I have 3 green tree frogs and a veiled chameleon. They have all been great except I'm really afraid one of my frogs is dying!
Her name is Stella and she hasn't eaten in 6 days. She is sickly looking and keeps opening her mouth like something is in it? Her eyes are glazed over and this morning it was crusted shut. I took a damp tissues and wiped it off for her. She tries to eat but she misses the crickets every time I tried to feed her with tweezers but I dont know if she can see it?
I know the tank is fine because the other frogs are doing great. They eat and have good color. The tank is a hex probably about 2ft tall. The temps are around 80 during the day and 70 at night the humidity is always around 60% I spray them twice daily, they have moss and a big water bowl. They get the small crickets which are gut loaded with Orange cube and the crickets are sprayed with vitamins before the frogs eat. I feed them in a separate smaller tank to make sure they all get a chance to eat. I let them eat for about 10 mins or until I know they have enough.
Please help with Stella, she just sits in the water dish opening her mouth and using her front arms (like they do when they eat). She won't climb and she looks dead

Oh and I have a UV light and a heat lamp, I use natural spring bottled water. I clean the cage with a good wipe down (using said water) ever week.
The chameleon is NOT caged with the frogs.

21---what is the frog's main food source
22---do feeders roam free in the enclosure or is the frog bowl fed
23---vitamins - what brand and how often
24---calcium - what brand and how often
25---was the frog without calcium for any period of time
    26---approximate age of the frog
27---how long have you owned the frog
28---who cared for the frog before you
29---is the frog wild caught or captive bred
30---how often the frog is handled -- are gloves used ( what kind of gloves)
31---is the enclosure kept in a high or low traffic area
30---has or was the frog properly quarantined (yes or no)
    -----for how long
32---has the frog been treated with any medication:
    -----for what
    -----name of medication
    -----for how long

Hello and welcome to FF! Stella needs to be quarantined in a tank by herself. Just use damp (dechlorinated tap) unprinted paper towels for substrate; a water dish with dechlorinated tap (Seachem Prime or ExoTerra Aquatize) to frog's chin level; and a silk plant to reduce stress. Natural Spring Bottled water is processed to match city standards for human drinking and can be unsafe for frogs.

Got load crickets with lettuce, carrots, and cherios cereal 24-48 hours prior to feeding frogs. Crickets should be same size (or smaller) than distance between frog's eyes. Those Fluker's orange cubes are not good; throw them away. Get either Repashy or RepCal CA/D3 and vitamin products and use per these schedules: http://www.frogforum.net/food-feeder...schedules.html.

Get some unflavored Pedialyte or similar baby electrolyte and Fluker's ReptaBoost. Mix 10% Pedialyte with 90% 80F dechlorinated tap and bath frog (small critter keeper or bowl with holed up top) for 20 minutes (cover with towel to reduce stress and keep heat in) in chin deep solution. Do that in evening after frog wakes up and then try to feed. Dust all crickets for one week in the Reptaboost powder; then you can resume use of CA and vitamins.

Let us know of any changes and if frog get's worse do try to find a herp vet now in case need to take it there. Good luck !
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog !

I would personally get her to the vet. A lot of work needs to be done on the enclosure also. They need branches and leaves. How are you measuring the humidity? It looks really dry.

EDIT: Also, get vitamin and calcium powder instead of spray.

Ok, first off, to avoid confusion, they are Australian green tree frogs (white's tree frogs or dumpy's). Correct? Because they don't look like American green tree frogs.

Second, I agree 120% with Carlos, she needs her own quarantine tank so you can truly monitor her eating and her waste (poo). She also needs a pedialyte bath ASAP to get some electrolytes back in her.

Other issues regarding the enclosure. Whatever you are using to measure humidity is incorrect. There is no way that enclosure is holding 60% humidity with an open screen top and a heat lamp glaring down into it. That heat lamp is surely burning up any humidity in the tank. Get rid of the uv light, white's don't require uv lighting. They definitely need climbing space. They are tree frogs being kept as a terrestrial frog. While that's most likely not causing the issue with your frog, it definitely needs to be addressed

Feeding outside the enclosure should be addressed as well. Every time you take them out to feed them, stresses them. And stress is one of the biggest killers of amphibians. I would recommend feeding in their enclosure using a glass bowl for the crickets so they are contained. Also, those sprays are not as good as powders for supplements. Recommend you switch to powders for calcium and vitamin supplements, making sure the crickets are well coated before feeding.

As far as #29, highly unlikely. Unless you got them from a breeder, most white's are wc animals. The reason I mention that is because most wc white's sold at pet stores have parasites, and that is what I would suspect is wrong with her. Definitely get her in a qt tank and have a fecal exam done as soon as possible.

    So Sorry

Amy is right. I agree ..this frog needs a vet

    just want to add---

The sick frog needs to be put into a hospital/QT tank ( alone )
    http://www.frogforum.net/general-dis...uarantine.html

I would not handle the fogs for feeding. It's , just, too stressful. (handling > meaning moving them)
I would suggest bowl feeding / moving forward.
However, get them use to it by placing the bowl ( at first ) in the same container they are used to eating in so they can learn to crawling into the bowl.
    http://www.frogforum.net/general-dis...eder-bowl.html

    13. bottled spring water for everything nothing added to the water
My 2 cents - you should still use an amphibian safe water preparation
( ie exo terra Aquatize ) regardless of using bottled water.

Be sure the vet knows you have 3 frogs. If one is ill they will all have to be treated.

Hi, and sorry for what you are going through. Agree with everybody here, you need to change a lot of things in a tank.

First as it was mentioned you need to place a sick frog separately in qt tank, make sure you cover all 4 sides of the enclosure. Do not handle it, send a fecal sample to dr, frye or perhaps there is a vet who treats frogs around where you live.
In the qt tank put plastic plants, a branch for it to sit on smth, water bowl.

Take out all substrate from your main tank, replace with wet papertowels, change them daily. Cover all except one side of your tank, put plastic plants, branch or two. it needs to look like a forest, but at the same time you need to be able to remove everything if needed.

Watch how they are eating/ pooping daily, i can guarantee you your fecal test will be back positive and you will be looking to deworm everybody. But you have to make sure they are not stressed out, no handling anybody, change papertowels daily only during a day when they are sleeping, and try not to disturb them. Please update us in a progress.
Save one animal and it doesn't change the world, but it surely changes the world for that one animal!
