So hoping this in the right section, but here is the new micro-vivaium I set up for my newly acquired marbled newt juvies. it's a standard 1ft aquarium, with a piece or glass cut to fit as a lid(with two large holes drilled into it for 2inch vents). There is about an inch layer of eco-earth, covered with ''frog moss'', since the few plants in there are epiphytic vines, but let's see how it goes. what i like about the small size of the viv is that it fit's nively into a lighted racking system I use to have for my spiders, and seems like a cool way to keep the growing newts.
Love the Marbled Newts! Have you checked out Caudata culture? Its probably the best Sal website out there Caudata Culture Home Page
