I have had two African Clawed Frogs in a ten gallon growing since November waiting for them to grow and to have the money for a 20 Long. Well now I have a tank that I really like and I was wondering what Ten gallon animal that are aquatic or semi aquatic that can live in a ten gallon. Also the animal has to be able to be carnivorous or a omnivorous animal like some kind of Aquatic frog, Crayfish, Puffer, Newt, etc and it has to be a new animal I already have a axolotl, African Clawed frogs, Bettas, and African Dwarf Frogs as well so if you know any other easy to care for carnivorous but not always having to eat live food animals that would be greatly appreciated.
Two fire bellied toads would be happy there. They do have to eat live food though. Chinese fire bellied newts can eat frozen blood worms or pellets as well as live food. Two can be happy in there as well. Be careful for false labels though. Japanese fire bellies and paddle tail newts are often mislabeled and get a lot bigger. But if you order from a reputable online breeder then you won't have that problem. Good luck!

Aphonopelma hentzi 0.0.1 (Texas Brown Tarantula)
Avicularia avicularia 0.0.2 (Pinktoe Tarantula)
Brachypelma smithi ex. annitha 0.0.1 (Mexican Giant Red Knee Tarantula) Monocentropus balfouri 0.0.2 (Socotra Island Blue Baboon Tarantula)
Harpactira pulchripes 0.0.1 (Golden Blue Leg Baboon Tarantula)
Couple FBTs would be fine in there . If going for a crayfish; be aware some species can grow quite large so look for one of the smaller ones. Also; ensure no decor or tank itself had copper meds on it ever. Even traces of Cu can kill a crayfish in days.
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog !
The crayfish and fire bellies do sound interesting but my friend has both of those species and we made a pact to get different species so we could have more combined variety so i think that i may go for the crayfish which shpould do fine in the tank as i havent ever put copper in the tank. Thanks for the info though.
