Default Second ed of my book, newts/salamanders, published

    Hi All,

The second edition of my book, Newts and Salamanders (http://www.thatpetplace.com/pet/prod/248759/product.web) has been published. Much of the info (terrarium design, feeding techniques, health care, food animals) should be of interest to frog fanciers. FrogForum is noted in the referenc section. 80+ new photos by herp legend and friend Dick Bartlett.

Any comments would be most appreciated.

    Thanks very much, Frank

Many thanks for the reference Frank. As a happy owner of the 1st edition, I hope the 2nd does well.

I have the 1st as well, long before I made the connection as to who wrote it. What is different in this second edition?

    Thanks, Everyone.

Due to publisher's new guidelines, it was necessary to cut 1/2 the text to make room for photos - where possible, I condensed rather than cut, and updated info where necessary. Photos are all new, many of rarely seen species, sub-species, color morphs, etc.

    Best, Frank

One of the aspects of the first edition of your book that set it apart from others of the time was the sheer volume of useful and interesting information. I'll have to get hold of a copy of the new one and compare.
