I have noticed Tarrazu making different vocalizations depending what he's doing or what's going on. I thought this was really interesting, my grey, Atlas, makes one vocalization for everything. Every noise he makes is pretty much the same, sometimes a bit crackly if his heart isn't into it, but still pretty much the same.Tarrazu makes one kind of noise when hunting, another when my alarm goes off or sirens go by, another just randomly throughout the night. When he first started making noise, it was almost a "click" type sound. I have started hearing that occasionally again and wonder if maybe Fortuna is a male and starting to mature...I have yet to catch him/her with a puffed out throat though, so I cannot confirm that.
I had no idea a red eyed tree frog could be so vocal!
