Hi! I've been using Frog Forum for about 8 months to help as I set up my Pacman tank. I was given Percy as a gift. I have always loved tree frogs and my friends, knowing this, thought he would be great. I didn't know anything about keeping a captive Pacman and since I knew they sometimes bite, I was not exactly a fan.

Soooo, I explored Frog Forum and learned how to set up the tank. Percy 1 lived 7 months but we didn't really "bond" (he always stayed buried). I was determined never to get another Pacman and just stay with my WTFs, but I thought I'd give it one more chance. I cleaned out the tank and a few weeks later, bought a new baby Pac. He seemed much better than Percy 1 in the new set-up (completely different from the first set-up) but died suddenly and without warning about three days later. I signed up for the forum to get help. I know it sounds stupid, but as much as I prefer WTFs, I really want to know what I did wrong. I try to be a good critter parent and hate the thought that I was unable to provide for them properly.

Anyway, I have always been a tree frog freak - since early elementary school! - and am so glad to chat with others who DON'T feel that frogs are slimy or whatever. I love tree frogs and regularly track them down at night, just to watch them up close! I look forward to learning more each read!
