    Hi
    Welcome to Frog Forum

Prepare yourself for a flood of support information regarding multi-species tanks!
It is always widely agreed upon, actually frowned upon, to house more than one species in an enclosure.

This is EXTREMELY important for the Red Eye Tree frogs !

Thank you both. Carlos, that was great info you have there. And I'm always ready for more info. I understand it would be best to seperate all the animals , but even after having them together this long, is it absolutely nesasarry to transfer them to new tanks?

i would suggest it for the stress relief of the animals. i raised Crested geckos years ago and they can get big enough to eat a tree frog. even if they don't do it, the fear in the frogs cannot be good for them. and having a snake in there can't be easy either.

Hey you mind posting pics of the snake? Snake/frog setups can be established in the right conditions. But if we are talking about Natrix natrix than there is a high risk that the frogs will become a meal. Just has not happened yet.

i would be interested in seeing pics as well. i'm always the devil's advocate FOR multispecies tanks, if done properly. so i am very curious to see this one.

An evil Rock with a tank mate? Don't think there is such a thing lol.

Multispecies enclosures are indeed amazing if done right. Unfortunately though it usually isn't and the owners often times get lucky with no problems for a while and think they're in the clear (Not talking about the OP but in general). I've seen some very successful Emerald Tree Boa/ Dendro enclosures. And that is one I wouldn't mind trying.
