Hello,
I just got my new spadefoots, and one of them has this weird discolored bump on his back. I have ordered from this company multiple times and every time I've been rewarded with healthy, happy toads...so this is not a complaint against the seller. I am just worried about this toad. He is as active as all the others, but he has this weird bump. I was worried it might be parasites but he recently pooped and it looks normal (which also implies he's eaten recently). Does anyone know what he might have? Is this something serious or could it be a birthmark type thing? Anybody know?
EDIT: Before anyone asks, I have him quarantined from the others.

It can be parasites ( intermittent form of tapeworm) or cyst or bunch of other things. You need vet.
Save one animal and it doesn't change the world, but it surely changes the world for that one animal!
I can't do anything until Monday because everything is closed (seriously--how can some vets treat reptiles and not amphibians?). Do you think I should try to feed him in the meantime? Anything I can do for him right now?
Yes, you can make him comfortable and as stress free as possible ( cover 3 sides of the enclosure, hides, plants). Feeding and everything as usual, you should wear gloves and attend to the guy the last.
that is not smth that requires immediate attention, he is eating, so he is ok.

He's acting perfectly normal, which is almost more baffling. He seems to really enjoy being in the water. I check on him every so often...I just don't want to stress him out. I'll try giving him some crickets later tonight. Hopefully he will take them. I didn't think about gloves but that's a good suggestion. Thank you.
I wouldn't worry about it. He was probably born with it and might have it for the rest of his life. If he is healthy and doesn't have any problems other than that he's probably just fine. I don't think it's an endoparasite or sort of parasite.
