my rice flour beetles and larvae

i ordered these and they look great to keep. no escapes and tiny larvae. from what i understand, the beetles don't taste good due to a defense thing, so only feed the larvae. they move around a good bit, and in a dark small dish i can see my little frogs going for them. trying them tonight. easy to keep- no moisture at all. Rice flour and dog biscuits. photo of larvae is with a USA dime.

my good eater had a dish of these last night, and he ate a good number of them. his tummy is not very big, so i am guessing he liked them. i put the left over ones back into the culture.
