Bill, I've been meaning to ask you, what are your thoughts on Hedera helix? I'm using it in my sauvagii and whites enclosure. I read they can cause skin irritation but they are commonly sold at reptile expos and even neherpetoculture offers them.
ivy's are great plants for a viv. i actually prefer them over pothos. the only prob with them, that i find, is some of the cultivars have large leaves, so they kind of overwhelm a small tank pretty darn quick. i actually have never heard about them causing irritation, but i suppose it is possible if you come in contact with a broken stem. but that could happen with most plants really. i mean, pothos, our staple of the vivarium, is toxic to most animals, if ingested. like i tell everyone, if you want safe, completely non-toxic plants for your viv, go with plastic or silk plants. most plants have some sort of toxicity in them for a defense mechanism.
