i got a small exo terra vine today, bendable. but i'm not sure exactly how to make it look real and natural. i ordered some suction cups for it, the suction cups have loops that you can thread the vine thru. do any of you have examples of how to bend it or wrap it around itself to make it look realistic?

I think a good way to make the vine realistic is to try to grow moss along it. This would give it a natural texture and make it look awesome. I have no experience with this so I don't know how it would turn out. It could be a fun experience.

The first vine is at least a year old. The close-up photo is revived sphagnum moss (started w/ dried block )
Wetting the shpag gets lots of climbing plants going. It will keep things wet as well as add nutrients as portions it break down.
ie sphag used to get this lance leaf fiscus to grow an a background ledge
Invest in really good lights.
ie 13 watt LED are about 2" from the top of the tanks.
