Hi, I'm MaeDay97, but you can call me Mae. I'm new to the forum and frogs. I'm hoping to get some sort of tadpoles and raise them. I'm leaning towards bullfrog tadpoles. I'm planning on getting a 55 gallon tank and using the tetra viquarium. For now I'm just trying to do some research. Any tips for a beginner would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Mae, welcome to Frog Forum

I don't think there is a problem keeping a bullfrog in a 55 gallon tank, but they are huge. It would be better to choose a smaller one, like the many varieties of tree frogs. I suggest having a pair or a trio of White's tree frogs. They are easily obtained and very hardy in captivity.

Yeah, I stayed another thread asking about good frogs for beginners, and that's what was suggested there. I have pretty much decided on that type, just doing more research now.
