Hi! I have been a member for a while because my son is the proud froggy parent to a trio of fire bellies. This summer we found frog eggs floating on top of my mom's (unclorinated at the time) swimming pool. Being animal people and curious too we scooped a few up to see what happened. We have enjoyed watching the transition from egg to tadpole and beyond. I have made arrangements with a neighbor to release the little guys in a safer environment than a swimming pool but we plan on keeping a couple. Yesterday I discovered a tiny little tree frog with a bit of a tail clinging to the side of my water filled aquarium. Do I need to move the little guy into a different aquarium? How long can he/she stay with the tadpoles? Can he/she still eat the fishfood that has worked so well so far? I guess it is time to figure out what we are doing with these little guys!
