Feeding minnows

Any opinions on feeding African Bullfrogs the occasional minnow ? "Kong" our African Bullfrog seems to like them, and is fairly efficent in catching them. I use red wigglers, nightcrawlers, and crickets as his staple food, yet figured minnows would be a nice source of calcium (besides actual dusting) and protein for him.

Minnows are also an excellent source of parasites. I wouldn't do it.
