I was wondering if it is Safe to use A 20 gallon Used fish tank for Tree Frogs if I buy all the other Necessities for the tree frogs and is there a special way to clean the tank before placing The Tree Frogs and Everything they need in it and what all do Tree Frogs Need in there Habbitat
Is it a standard size 20 gallon? What are the dimensions?

if you do use this tank, bleach/water but no soap. soak then rinse well and sun-dry. you would want to tip it up so it is vertical. ( tall position) and get a conversion kit, or do it yourself. Junglebox sells conversion kits for 20 tall, but not 20 long.
depends on the type of tree frog you want. research the tree frog type you prefer and decide it that is too complex for your lifestyle. if you pick a frog, then you can start setting up a terrarium/vivarium.

I use aquariums all the time and use the same regimen. If it was a freshwater tank, it gets scrubbed thoroughly with Dawn brand dish detergent, rinsed heavily, scrubbed with bleach, rinsed heavily, then i spray it with dechlorinator (I use prime) and then rinsed with Dechlorinated water. If it was a salt water tank, and has hard water spots on it, I start with CLR and a razor blade. Then I go to the above regimen.

Actually the 24 inch long ones are the standard, 30 inch long are longs and there is a 3rd size that's super tall that's a 20 gallon extra tall. So this member means the 24 inch long one which I believe is what you are calling the 20 tall
i think what i meant was- since there are more than one size, it is not a standard size. a 10 gallon is standard all the time. there are different size covers for 20 gallon tanks, b/c there are more than one size. the op would probably want to measure the tank and find pout dimensions and go from there.

Either way, unless it is a 20h, it's not very suitable for tree frogs unless converted to a vertical tank.

True. Junglebox makes a conversion kit for the 20 high tanks.

OP probably has a 20H with dimensions 24 1/4 x 12 1/2 x 16 3/4.
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog!
It is 24 inches Long and 20 Inches tall
you could make it a vertical with a conversion kit.
