    Default Picky Eater

I got an Ornate Pacman Frog that I named Namco about 5 month ago at a local Pet Smart. He'd been doing fine and ate well for about four months until I went to Pet Smart again and purchased him some meal worms. He loved them, and that's the problem. Now he ignores the crickets and night crawlers I had been feeding him and refuses to eat anything but the meal worms. I want to know if this is an issue that can be solved or if he's just being picky.

Namco and I thank you ahead.

Yes that is an issue since mealworms are low in nutrition, fatty, and their tough skin survives digestion and can cause impaction. Keep offering night crawlers, it should take them if hungry enough .
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog !

I gave him three days without a meal and he still didn't take, I am currently giving him a warm bath ( he out for a bit cause the water hot) I put honey in it as someone else on Frog Forum suggested. Do you think it my frog being picky and wanting treats or does he have an impaction?

Feel the frogs righy side. If he needs to poop there will be a lump that will feel firm.
