Question Finding 14 dead crickets.. HELP!

I went to turn off my frogs lights for the night and saw 14 dead crickets, they were in the water and my firebelly toad was just sitting there with them.. My other frog(green tree frog) was eating a mealworm. Can anyone tell me why they might be doing this? Thank you!!

Hello and welcome to FF Danika! Crickets drown in water plus the FBTs are slightly toxic. Please read this care article to check you are providing the right parameters for frog: Frog Forum - Fire-Bellied Toad Care and Breeding - Bombina orientalis and relatives. Is the green tree frog in the same enclosure? Thank you !
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog !

Thanks for the information! Yes I keep my green tree frog and firebelly together in a 10gallon. Thanks for replying!
