Yesterday I got a second fire belly toad and within hours of putting it in the tank I determined that the old one was a male because it tried mounting the new one, however I never actually saw it I just heard it from my brother, today I saw the old one attempting to mount the new one again (neither one making any noise) and the new one kept trying to escape. Does this mean that the new one is a male as well or could it just be a female not wanting to be mounted?
