    That's what I was thinking. Especially not a baby. Are you sure it didn't bury itself in the substrate due to improper temps/humidity? No pet frogs/toads are made to be taken out and played with btw.

    I was outside changing the tank since it was too much of a mess to do inside. So I'm sure he's out and about somewhere out there. At least he has a chance now. I'm aware frogs/toads are not meant to be handled too much. I was keeping it in the same tank as my new toad.
