I bake mine dry at 200F (93C) for one hour and then let it cool off slowly in oven overnight. Never had it catch fire; but recommend watch it first time around to ensure it's OK in your oven. Think a professional type steam cleaner would be OK on the larger pieces that can't be cut and won't fit inside the oven.
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog!
