Hello,
Welcome to Frog Forum
I'm so sorry to hear about the frogs.....
Start by being sure the frog is hydrated !
Use very dampened paper towels as substrate and a shallow water dish with de-chlorinated water.
If you don't have amphibian safe water de-chlorinator...use spring water temporarily.
We would need to know what species of frog yo have so a proper set-up can be arranged.
A photo is a good idea so we can id it accurately.
MY 2 cents and of course... my opinion
If they were looking for water;
bring the frog to a near by area w/water that is not polluted and release it.
I believe it's best to leave the wild ones in their natural habitat.
If you want a frog you would have a great choice of captive bread ones.
We want to help.
If you are keeping this frog. You WILL get great advise here. But we need that photo
Keep us posted
